Smiths Falls Flying Club
Do you know a young person who aspires to fly an airplane? Or one who just wants to find out what aviation is all about? Then COPA for Kids is the answer! Open to all children ages 8-17.
This year’s event will take place on June 15th, 2019 at the Smiths Falls Airport (101 Van Exan Drive), sponsored by COPA Flight 100 (Smiths Falls Flying Club).
Participants will take place in a brief ground session led by a pilot, where they will learn about the various parts of an aircraft and what they do, answer questions about aviation and flying, and then go for their flight. Upon completion, participants under 12 will receive a certificate of completion, and those 12-17 years of age will receive an official log book, with a record of their first (of possibly many!) flight.
Please send your completed registration form, and any questions you may have, along with a preferred flight time of 8:30, 9:15, or 10:00 to John Whalen at COPA100.firstname.lastname@example.org.
